A Message to Garcia

What I interpreted from A Message to Garcia is that the author, Elbert Hubbard, is very sick and tired of people trying to take the easy way out of things, complaining about work, procrastinating until the last minute or just simply not doing work. I personally agree with him. Even with all of our new-fangled technology, it is very easy to google the answer to a homework question or text a friend and ask him to give you the answers. I think the "delivering a message to Garcia" is an analogy for doing anything. He says to just do your job without complaining and be happy with it. If someone asks you to retrieve something, Hubbard says, instead of complaining and asking a million questions, you should just go right away and follow your command. We should be like Rowan and follow our orders and not complain. I agree with Hubbard because I have dealt with people not following simple orders I have asked them to do. For example, one time I asked my brother to bring my book bag upst...
Today during human geo, we cheered Vlad on to start up his blog to work. He eventually got it to! We learned about what human geography really is. Human geography is the study of culture from around the world. We also learned about some late policies with work. Everyday we don't turn in an assignment we loss 10% on our final grade for the assignment. We also got to hear a nice ensemble from the band. During all of this nonsense, Chase came in late because his locker wouldn't open. We also learned the point system Mr. Schick uses. Blogs are worth 2 points each. Homework is 10 - 25 points. Classwork is also 10 - 25 points. Quizzes are worth 50 points. Tests are worth 100 points. Projects are worth 100 - 200 points. We also learned that computers must be charged before coming to class. If not, we would get in trouble.
Before being dropped off at school, my mother forced me to take a picture in front of it. During my first morning at John Carroll, I had internet problems so I had to wait in the IT office for 15 minutes. After leaving the IT office, I struggled opening my locker for a few minutes but finally opened it after some time. I then found my first class, Human Geography, and made the blog that I am now sharing this on. After human geography, I had Spanish, during Spanish we learned about everyone in the class. During English, we again, learned about everyone in the class with some fun activities. After that, I had a STEM meeting during lunch. Then I went to biology. We did an activity where we had to "save" a gummy worm from "drowning." I then had free mod where I typed this here entry.  Then in intro to drawing, we learned how to draw. After intro, I left the school.
