Today in class we finished the outline and watched a video on Alexander the Great. The essay questions on the test are: Describe the difference between the various forms of government, Describe the philosophies of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, Progression of Minoan, Mycenaean and Dorian.

Today in class we ranted about when we are taking the test. We ended up deciding on when we get back from Easter. Then we made an outline about the Hellenistic period.

Today in class we made an outline about Alexander the Great.

Today in class we talked about snow. Then we read about the Hellenistic culture of Greece. It started because of Alexander the Great's different policies. Their main language spoken was "Koine." The term came from the Greek word for "common." The Egyptian city of Alexandria became the major epicenter of the Hellenistic civilization.

Today we read up Alexander the Great and he was a pretty interesting guy. When he was only 8, he was able to tame a horse that no one else could tame. He grew up to become one of the strongest leaders in Greek history.

Today in class we started presenting our presentations. My group went last. I'd say our project was pretty good. 👍

Today we kept working on our projects. Here is a little teaser: Ancient Greece is replete with many stories of gods and goddesses. Some of the most well known gods and goddesses include Zeus and Aphrodite. Many have also heard of Poseidon. Poseidon is the god of the sea. The Ancient Greeks were heavily influenced by their gods. If something went wrong, such as no rain to saturate crops, the farmers would complain to the gods. If something like no rain for a season were to occur then the people would think that the gods had forsaken them and that they had done something wrong.

Today in class we were supposed to talk about philosophy but talked about colors and stuff.
