Longitude and Latitude

Today in class we talked about longitude and latitude. Longitude are the imaginary lines going up and down the world. Latitude lines are the ones parallel to the equator. You use them to decipher location. In between each degree on a map, there is a minute, 60 minutes make up a degree, In a minute, there is a second. 60 seconds make up a minute.
